The Pack System
Every dog is grouped by size, energy, and temperament. Your dog earns their bandanna level over time.

Green β Rookie
New to the pack. Learning the ropes and building confidence with gradual socialization.
Blue β Scout
Social, balanced, and comfortable in the pack. Ready for regular adventures.
Red β Pack Leader
Top tier. Trusted, well-behaved, and a positive influence on other dogs.
Orange β Expert
Advanced level. Ready for any adventure, any terrain, any challenge.

πΎ Every Dog Earns Their Bandanna
Dogs progress through the levels by completing camp days, passing behavior evaluations, and following handler commands. It's not just a color β it's an achievement.
Common Questions
Quick answers to the things people ask most.
We pick up your dog, take them on structured outdoor adventures with a supervised pack of dogs, and drop them off at the end of the day β tired, happy, and fulfilled. Think of it as adventure-based enrichment β real outdoor trails, parks, and structured socialization combined with indoor facility time.
We come right to your door. Morning pickups happen between 7:30β10:00 AM, and afternoon drop-offs between 2:30β5:30 PM. Pickup and drop-off are included with every service within our service area. No driving on your end.
Safety is our #1 priority. Every dog is placed into a structured pack based on size, temperament, and energy level. Our Pack Guides are trained in calm leadership and quick intervention. We maintain a maximum of 8β12 dogs per vehicle with 2 staff members at all times.
That's exactly why we have our evaluation process. Before joining the pack, every dog goes through a behavior evaluation. Dogs that need extra time start as Green Bandanna Rookies with gradual socialization. We'll be honest about whether it's a good fit.
Dogs do not need to be spayed/neutered to join Pack Ride Adventures, but behavior and temperament are carefully evaluated during intake. We assess every dog individually to ensure they're a good fit for pack play.
Day camp includes both indoor and outdoor play. Our facility features a climate-controlled indoor space and a fenced outdoor adventure yard. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and energy level to ensure safe, positive experiences.
All Pack Ride Adventures staff go through background checks, reference verification, hands-on shadowing, and trial shifts before working independently. Staff are trained in dog behavior, pack management, safety protocols, and Pet First Aid/CPR (certified). We conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews and provide ongoing training in dog behavior, safety, and operations.
Every dog completes an intake form, behavioral assessment, and orientation before their first adventure. We assess social skills, temperament, behavior with other dogs and people, adventure readiness, and physical fitness. Dogs progress through our bandanna levels (Green β Blue β Red β Orange) based on observed behavior and staff consensus.
Day Camp is $40β$60/day depending on your pickup zone. Adventure Days are $75 (Tue/Thu) or $100 (Saturday). Memberships start at $150/month for 2 days/week, $220/month for 3 days/week, $280/month for 4 days/week, and $450/month for unlimited camp. Tourism packages start at $70. All prices include pickup and drop-off.
We serve a 25-mile radius from our HQ in Wisconsin Dells. Zone A (0β10 miles) is base rate. Zone B (10β15 miles) has a small surcharge. Zone C (15β25 miles) has a higher surcharge. Use the zone checker on our homepage to find your zone.
Yes. For the safety of all dogs in the pack, we require current rabies and DHPP vaccinations plus flea/tick prevention. If you're unsure about your dog's vaccination status, just let us know and we'll help you figure it out.

Where It All Started
Meet David.
David is a miniature Whoodle β small in size, enormous in heart. He's the kind of dog who doesn't just greet you at the door. He crashes into you. Tail going, eyes bright, like every single time you come home is the best moment of his entire life.
But for a long time, most of David's days didn't look like that. Cody would leave for work in the morning, and David would be standing at the window. When Cody came home hours later β David was still there. Same window. Same spot. Justβ¦ waiting.
Not destroying things. Not barking. Just quietly waiting for his person to come back. And that silence was louder than any bark could ever be.
David is also a certified registered Emotional Support Animal (ESA) β a role that speaks to the depth of his bond with Cody and the real impact dogs have on the people who love them.
That image β David at the window, alone, watching the world go by without him β is the reason Pack Ride Adventures exists. πΎ
The Founder
Why Cody Built This
Cody Devold didn't start Pack Ride Adventures because he saw a business opportunity. He started it because of guilt. The kind that sits in your chest when you lock the door in the morning and hear nothing on the other side β because your dog already gave up barking for you to stay.
He tried everything. Traditional options didn't fit. Nothing was built for a dog like David β a dog who didn't need a room to sit in. He needed a life to live.
So Cody built the thing he wished existed. A service where dogs don't wait. They ride. They run. They roam. They come home tired, fulfilled, and finally at peace β and so does their owner.
"Every time I came home and saw David at that window, I promised him I'd fix it. Pack Ride Adventures is me keeping that promise."

The Person Behind the Mission
Meet Dave
Pack Ride Adventures wouldn't exist without the person who believed in it from day one.
Dave
Dave is the visionary who made Pack Ride Adventures possible. By opening his warehouse and property in Wisconsin Dells, he gave us the perfect home base β a secure, professional facility where dogs can thrive. His belief in what we're building has been instrumental from the very beginning. Dave's wife Kim β an award-winning dog author, trainer, and former managing editor of Dog World magazine β brings deep canine expertise that directly shapes how we structure our packs and train our staff.

Dave's partnership, belief, and support make Pack Ride Adventures more than a service β it's a movement.
Now That You Know Us
Here's What We Do
Real outdoor adventures, structured pack play, and door-to-door pickup and drop-off. Built for dogs who need more than a room to sit in.
